Tamer Abdelaal’s Role in Supporting Jushi Group’s Investments in Egypt

Businessman Tamer Abdelaal has played a pivotal role in supporting and facilitating Jushi Group’s investments in Egypt. From the very beginning, he was instrumental in assisting the company and negotiating with the Egyptian government to resolve obstacles it faced, paving the way for the success of its investments in the country.

One of the key moments in this effort was his meeting with Dr. Kamal El-Ganzouri, the former Egyptian Prime Minister, in the presence of the Chinese Ambassador to Cairo, Song Aiguo. During this meeting, he successfully mediated to resolve the challenges facing Jushi, including securing the necessary energy supply for the factory, removing bureaucratic obstacles that were delaying operations, and ensuring continued government support for Chinese investments in Egypt.

From Success to Legal Dispute

Despite his major role in Jushi Group’s success in Egypt, the company is now facing a serious legal dispute due to its failure to fulfill its financial and contractual obligations. Although significant efforts were made to ensure the stability of its operations, the company failed to honor its financial commitments toward its key representative in Egypt. This has led to the escalation of the case to legal authorities in both Egypt and China.

How can a company that has benefited from such extensive support ignore the rights of those who contributed to its success?

We urge all relevant authorities to intervene to ensure justice is served and to prevent further violations that could harm the reputation of Chinese investments in Egypt and the economic relations between the two nations.
